LG Mobile Xenon GR500 Cell Phone Review–Highly LimitingBy Steve Anderson - 02/23/2010 12:17:13 AM |
So the folks out at Puremobile sent me an LG Mobile Xenon GR500 to try, and I found it to be a halfway decent phone, but certainly not all it might have been.
The LG Mobile Xenon GR500 Camera is a slider-style phone with a two megapixel camera, a full QWERTY keyboard, music player that supports several different formats, a 2.8 inch touch screen with vibration feedback, speakerphone capability, Bluetooth connectivity, mobile email, and a battery capable of generating four hours of talk time on a single charge.
You can see there’s quite a few interesting things missing–no game demos here, or an FM radio, or even mobile web access. There are some models of TracFone that will offer those features. But still, the LG Mobile Xenon GR500 one is a fairly solid model. However, you can do significantly better.
The Good
Decent array of features
Nice design with easy sliding action
The Bad
Lacking several critical features
Score 4 / 10
