LG Launches its R200 LCD Notebook

LG has announced the LG R200. The notebook is to be released in the Korean market on October 17th. The notebook allows users to enjoy a variety of entertainment functions such as MP3 playback, photo and mini games via a 2.5-inch external LCD monitor even if the computer is not booting into Windows.

The notebook should be based on Intel’s Santa Rosa Platform (Centrino Duo or Pro). Equipped with wireless LAN 802.11n-draft, Triple Hexa-band Antenna and three USB ports, the R200 supports ATI HD 2400 and 135Mbps data transfer speed. Adopting 12.1-inch wide display, 2GB memory and 160GB HDD(1GB Turbo memory) and super multi drive, it is expected to be available for 2,240,000(KRW).
