LG-KU990 Mobile Phone to Enable to Record Video in DivX Format

LG's KU990, otherwise going by the more popular name of Viewty, just got a whole lot better. While other phones are still grappling with VGA resolution video recording, the Viewty one-ups it all with a new update providing video recording in DivX format at a whopping 120 frames per second and a resolution of 640x480 using its 5-megapixel camera. This would mean that the videos can be played directly on a big variety of DivX devices including DVD players and PMPs. The older Viewty models, which kicked the crap out of the iPhone in Europe, will get some sort of a software update while the newer ones will come with the function preloaded.

The Viewty is already available in most of the European countries. Go get one for around $518.
