LG KF700 Cell Phone at the MWC
LG showcased a number of mobile phones in Mobile World Congress this year including the LG-KF600, LG Viewty, LG-KF510, and the LG-KS20; all of which we've already featured before. One we haven't yet, however, is the LG KF700 slider cell phone. The LG KF700 is a multi-media phone; the first in the world to have three different input methods. These are the 3" touch screen, shortcut dial, and alphanumeric keypad.
“Our consumers told us that they wanted a phone that had plenty of multimedia features, but doesn’t take a long time fiddling with menus to figure out. We created the LG-KF700 based their insight,” said Dr. Skott Ahn, CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Internal research showed that a phone’s multimedia features often lay dormant if they are hard to access. On many phones these features are hidden deep in menus, requiring too much time and effort to find them. The LG-KF700 eliminates these endless menus with its intuitive interface and multiple input methods.”
These three input methods could work together to make the easiest intuitive phone available. The LG KF700 is a 3G phone with HSDPA support, plus, it has a full-featured web browser, allowing you computer-like access to web sites. It also features a 3-megapixel camera, MP3 player, Bluetooth connectivity, and MP4 video player. The model will first be available in Europe on March, 2008, followed by other markets in the following months to come.
