LG KE850 Prada Officially AnnouncedBy Mariella - 01/18/2007 3:01:09 PM |
Today LG and Prada have confirmed their upcoming LG Prada phone, also known as the KE850 that we introduced you to yesterday.
The most notable and noticeable feature of this is the full touch-control design. The new handset is the result from the collaboration between the Korean manufacturer LG and the Prada design team.
Features of the LG Prada phone are a 3-inch LCD touchscreen display, a 2 megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach optics, and a microSD memory card slot. The display itself is made using the capacitive touchscreen technology, which means that it uses electroconductivity to sense your touch. This kind of technology is designed only to be used with fingers, so a stylus will not be necessary.
The LG Prada phone will be available in the UK, France, Germany and Italy as of late February, 2007 with prices starting from 600 EUR. This will be followed by countries in Asia such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore in late March, 2007. The Korean version of the phone is scheduled to launch in the second quarter of 2007.
