LG-CU500 and LG-CU575 3G HSDPA Cellular Phone

LG Electronics strengthens its hold in the mobile phone market with the release of their LG-CU500 and LG-CU575 earlier this year. It is one of the many next generation 3G handy phone that LG has produced to strengthens its market leadership.

The CU500 is small clamshell with internal antenna, rotating camera and two color displays. It is quad-band GSM and dual-band UMTS/HSDPA 3G phone with music player featuring dedicated keys and stereo speakers, and video player and editor.

The CU575 comes as simple 3G phone for AT&T, using the high-speed data as its key feature. It has microSD slot for memory expansion, music player and 1.3-megapixel camera. Being a quad-band GSM can work worldwide, but the 3G will not be usable in Europe.

With these phones out in the market, LG sets its hold in the mobile communication industry.
