LG Chocolate Touch VX8575 puts in an appearanceBy Dax - 09/21/2009 9:13:23 AM |
The name Chocolate Touch has been popping up from time to time via leaked roadmaps and other sources, but we couldn’t get you some pics of the device, until now that is. And we also have some information on the mysterious device, including the fact that among the two prototypes (one of which was modeled around the lovable BL40) presented to a “focus group,” the design you see above turned out to be the winner, which should dampen any hopes that you will see a BL40 or a BL40-esque handset anytime soon on Verizon. The Chocolate Touch will feature a WVGA TFT touchscreen display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, HTML browser, and a 3.5mm standard headphone jack. Now, there isn’t much going for the LG VX8575 compared to the other leaked handsets set for a debut on Verizon later this year, but let’s wait and see if it has any surprises hidden when they make it official.
