LG’s new cell phone for Alltel customers, the AX8600 is on display at the CTIA. Available in a slim form-factor, the AX8600 comes in marine blue, gold and apple green colors.

The LG AX8600 features a 1.3 megapixel camera and support for microSD memory cards. A little backward in terms of Bluetooth (v1.1 supported), the phone supports hands-free/headset profiles.

The phone is equipped with dual displays – a 262k color internal display and a 65k color external one.

LG claims a talk-time of 3 hours and 40 minutes, with a standby of more than 16 days. Compatible with CDMA dual-band, it boasts EV-DO as well. Other than the MP3 player, there’s not much to write home about on this phone.
