Lextech Labs has presented a useful iPhone application named iRa, which can be summed up as a remote surveillance system that can be controlled by the user. On the iPhone screen you can see multiple video feeds in live mode, and by using the touchscreen interface just perform zoom and tilt functions. It is already available for download at App Store, so try it out if you’re really interested.
iRa works with wirelessly via Wi-Fi, and can be used in plenty of scenarios like museums, shopping malls, parking spots, and many more.
To prove how popular and useful it is, iRa received an award at iPhoneDevCamp2 that took place in San Francisco a few months ago, that award was “Coolest iPhone App”.
