We have seen the evolution of the iPhone into a useful tool as far as the medical industry is concerned. Now we see another application/service offered, starting off with a free 30-day subscription for physicians who can access the Lexi-Comp database for comprehensive pharmacology reference, something critically needed by physicians in their diagnoses prowess.

After the 30 day subscription period is over, pricing plans covering 1,2 or 3 year subscriptions are available for multi-year pricing.

The Lexi-Comp is likewise compatible with the Palm and Pocket PC devices. It is also compatible with most smartphones like the Blackberry and Windows Mobile.
