Lenovo’s IdeaPad U8 is OfficialBy Chris - 08/18/2008 5:58:36 PM |

In case anyone was waiting for the IdeaPad U8, Lenovo has just launched it. What better period of the year for this MID to be released than the mid Olympic games in Beijing?
Unfortunately the device is available for the Asian region for now. There’s a 4.8 inch touchscreen, an Intel Silverthorn-class Atom processor, up to 2GB of memory and 6GB flash storage. There are dual cameras and support for China Multimedia Mobile Broadcasting television via an USB dongle. WiFi? Sure! We have 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, EDGE and Chinese TD-SCDMA 3G.
Hopefully Lenovo will sent this MID to the rest of the world soon.
