Lenovo has recently and silently added the IdeaPad Y530 laptop to the US market, which can be summed up as a 3Kg notebook that uses Windows Vista as the operative system, with prices starting at $550 or $900 depending on the model you pick. There are two options:
- Y530 Home Entertainment: the low-end model that has a Pentium T3200 processor, or a Core 2 Duo T5800. The integrated graphics card is powered by an Intel GMA 4500MHD.
- Y530 High Performance Media: the high-end model with three options for the processors – Core 2 Duo T5800, P7350, P8400 – and a better graphics card – Nvidia GeFroce 9300M GS, or 9500M G.
In terms of memory RAM and hard-drive, both Lenovo laptops have 4GB and 320GB respectively.
