Lenovo 3000 V200 ThinkPad X61

Lenovo unveiled two new models, the ThinkPad X61 Notebook PC series and the Lenovo 3000 V200 in Japan. They also introduced the X61 Tablet PC featuring Intel Centrino Pro processor technology.

The Lenovo 3000 V200 model sports Intel Centrino Duo processor technology, and is equipped with an optical drive and a 12.1" wide VibrantView LCD. Two of the ThinkPad X series notebooks also include Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, WLAN and modem.

For security, the X61 offers fingerprint scanning, a separate HDD protection, the ability to cancel I/O ports (so the USB and IEEE 1394 ports are not misused) add to the security of data on the laptop. On the X61 Tablet PC, low voltage processor technology enhances the battery life.
