KT-Tech presents KTvid: Real-time Audio & Video Communication

KT-Tech has released a new application for mobile phones entitled KTvid. According to the claims, they are the first company (in the world) that were able to create a video+audio communication software that works in real-time with 2.5G cellular networks without much problems.

The KTvid software doesn’t need a 3G network in order to work, and is compatible with cellphones featuring Windows Mobile Professional version 5.0 to 6.1, and with computers that use Windows XP or Vista as the operative system. Other features include being carrier-independent of CDMA or GSM, and the minimum requirements are 1MB of memory RAM, and a microprocessor of 200Mhz.

Robert Lerner of KT-Tech, comments:

We are aiming to lower the barriers to adoption of mobile video by enabling high-quality video on today’s handsets, over today’s cellular networks.
