Kingston unveiled two new USB drives in its popular DataTraveler lineup. The DataTraveler II Plus (on the left) offers a huge 8GB of storage capacity, and comes with synchronization software from Migo. Migo's suite allows you to work on multiple PCs while retaining email, internet settings, cookies, history along with files and folders.
You can also password protect the drive. The newest feature to hit the portable drives is the Universal Mail Format, allowing users to access email among different clients, including MS Outlook, Outlook Express and Windows Mail.
The second is the DataTraveler 100 (DT 100) USB flash drive in a capless design and USB connector housed inside the casing. Simply slide the side of the drive with your thumb to bring out the connector. Ideal for storing/transferring large files from one digital device to another without passwords, the DT 100 is availble in capacities 1-8GB. Compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 2000 and Linux (kernel 2.4 and above).
