Kindle is the “most gifted item ever on Amazon.com”

It looks like Amazon got what they wanted for Christmas. According to a recent press release, the Kindle has become “the most gifted item ever on Amazon.com”.

Oh yes, more gifted than any book in the catalog, and it would seem that, for the first time ever, Amazon customers purchased more Kindle books than physical books. This historic event took place on Christmas day, and you had better believe that Amazon is just eating the sugarplums that were dancing in their heads.
