KEYnetik Motion Sensor For Mobile Phones

|

KEYnetik1.jpg

With the all the touch screen sensors being developed nowadays (including 3D motion sensors and similar), it's refreshing to see a motion sensor developed for mobile phones. The pic you see above is the prototype device for KEYnetik motion sensor. The sensor can translate movements of your hand into commands on screen. The device can also determine which movements are meant as inputs and which are "motion interference," or unintentional movements. KEYnetik even has developed an implementation of their sensor for the Nokia N95 called "RockNScroll" which you can download in the KEYnetik forums after you sign up.

Videos of the KEYnetik prototype and the Nokia N95 with the sensor after the jump.
