JooJoo: The Born-again CrunchPad

By Mark Rollins - 12/08/2009 2:17:44 PM

We have previously reported that the CrunchPad would probably not be sold, and it was due to a fallout between CrunchPad creator Michael Arrington and would-be CrunchPad manufacturer Fusion Garage.

Yesterday, Fusion Garage CEO Chandra Rathakrishnan introduced the 12.1 inch tablet JooJoo, which is essentially the CrunchPad at a higher price. It was expected to be $300, but it is now $499. It has Wi-Fi, a 4GB SSD, a five hour battery life, and it all weighs 2.4 pounds.

The JooJoo could be out as early as this Friday, but the drama between Michael Arrington and Fusion Garage doesn’t seem to be ending.
