We’ve reported on the Linux-based OS Jolicloud before, and you will be pleased to know that version 1.0 is rolling out this week.

Jolicloud will contain an exhaustive app center, social stream, universal file system, anywhere OS, as well as a simpler, customizable launcher entirely built in HTML5. It also comes with a batch of apps like Gmail, Firefox, and Twitter pre-installed, with 700 available elsewhere.

I don’t have the exact day of the week set when this will roll out, but I would imagine that it won’t be long.
