JitterBug cellular phone designed for seniorsBy Mariella - 05/29/2007 11:20:49 PM |
Many of today’s feature-packed cellular phones can be very confusing for the elderly. Jitterbug has specially designed a phone just for them. The phone is offered in two models offering either a numerical key pad or a simpler three button keypad. Discarding an icon/menu interface, the phone asks a series of simple yes and no questions to operate the phone and access services like voicemail, etc. Users will know right away if they have service when they hear a dial-tone emmited from the handset. If no dial tone is present, there is no service. The JitterBug Onetouch features a operator button to talk with a live 24-hour Jitterbug operator, a personalized programmable direct dial button and a 911 emergency onetouch access button. The Jittterbug phone is perfect for elders who need a easy to use phone that they feel is comfortable and less confusing than many other phones.
