Jamba and Crazy Frog change directions thanks to News CorpBy Tony - 10/20/2008 8:08:29 PM |

Jamba is a rather popular company in the world of mobile phones, I bet you’ve seen their Crazy Frog ad (or ringtone) a few times, more than enough to be honest.
Since the acquisition made by News Corp is now finalized, there are a couple of changes at Jamba, more specifically the creation of 3 new business units under Fox Mobile Group:
#1 Fox Mobile Distribution – responsible for worldwide distribution of the content
#2 Fox Mobile Entertainment – responsible for licensing content to 3rd parties
#3 Fox Mobile Studios – where the content is created
As for future targets of Fox Mobile Distribution? Asia is one of them.
Mauro Montanaro comments:
This new organizational model aligns our business strengths to the global market opportunities in mobile content distribution, licensing, and production and facilitates the execution of our business strategy to lead in all three areas.
