Iriver has presented a new PNS - Portable Navigation System - known as CaroNavi. It will be released on the Japanese market next week, on December 19th, with a price tag of €250 which is close to $320.
In terms of specifications, the CaroNavi uses MapPlus software made by Edia, and is compatible with audio + video files, such as WMV for videos, and MP3, WMA, or OGG for audio. The LCD touchscren on the CaroNavi measures 3.5-inches and provides a resolution of 320×240 pixels, while the internal flash memory has 2GB of storage, but it can be expanded thanks to the slot for SD memory cards. Since this is a Portable Navigation System, it must be light and that is why it only weights 137 grams.

[...] iRiver has a new PMP ready, the E50, which comes in aluminum this time. The player will be launched in January and it will cost about $90. That’s the 4GB price but there are going to be two more versions, the 2GB and the 8GB but we don’t know the prices yet. The E50 will get you a 1.8 inch color LCD, an FM tuner and a battery capable of 52 hours of audio life. That’s about all we know so far about iRiver’s E50 but we’ll keep you posted when we have more info on the matter. [...]
