Iriver has presented a new PNS – Portable Navigation System – known as CaroNavi. It will be released on the Japanese market next week, on December 19th, with a price tag of €250 which is close to $320.
In terms of specifications, the CaroNavi uses MapPlus software made by Edia, and is compatible with audio + video files, such as WMV for videos, and MP3, WMA, or OGG for audio. The LCD touchscren on the CaroNavi measures 3.5-inches and provides a resolution of 320×240 pixels, while the internal flash memory has 2GB of storage, but it can be expanded thanks to the slot for SD memory cards. Since this is a Portable Navigation System, it must be light and that is why it only weights 137 grams.
