Iridium releases 9555 Satellite PhoneBy Tony - 10/21/2008 9:59:11 PM |

Iridum Satellite has finally presented the 9555 – their new satellite phone that is smaller than usual. Thanks to the antenna being stored internally, it means you can keep it safe & small and only put it on the outside when needed.
The Iridium 955 is quite resistant, be it to water, shock or dust, therefore it also becomes very durable. It includes an integrated speakerphone on top of handset mode, a hands-free function, and a mini-USB interface to transfer data.
It won’t play games, take pictures, or play MP3s. What it will do is work. Everywhere. Without exception.
Other details:
- Standby time: Up to 30 hours
- Talk time: Up to 4 hours
- 200 character illuminated graphic display
- Illuminated weather-resistant keypad
