iPods to Receive and Record Live TV Soon?

If this patent filed by Apple is consistent, you may just end up seeing the next generation Apple iPods with something new; receiving and recording TV signals. The patent was filed yesterday (January 14) which illustrates the iPod to double as a TV or DVR.

Expanding on the iPod Nano‘s ability to pause and tag live radio, Apple’s supposedly looking into doing the same for the iPod, but with live TV. If this does push through, you can expect the next generation iPods to be pricier. Excited?
