Ipod Touch 2.0 Firmare Upgrade Leaked

With the released of the much anticipated App Store and the iTunes 7.7, users will have to upgrade their firmware to 2.0 for them to be able to use these new features. For those who already have the iPhone – or for those getting the 3G iPhone, i bet it already has firmware 2.0 installed – the update can be downloaded for free. But for those with the iPod Touch, Apple is asking for a $10 upgrade fee.

Well, I just saw this article from livecrunch offering the iPod Touch 2.0 firmware update for free! And what’s even better is that the people who have already downloaded it, claimed it worked, with the iTunes 7.7 and the App Store. I’m downloading my copy right now and try to test it on my iPod Touch.

For those interested, below is the link to the article.
