We’ve been hearing of the iPhone TomTom car dock for some time now but still haven’t managed to secure a solid release window. Well, it was recently made known via TomTom’s online FAQ that the dock will be made available for purchase sometime this October.

Additionally, the FAQ also states that the dock will not ship with the iPhone application rendering it completely useless unless you have already purchased the app separately. However, it remains a mystery if TomTom plans on releasing a bundle with both the app, and the dock.
