iPhone Soon in Thailand?

|

Advanced%20Info%20Service_logo.gifIt seems Apple is really intent on launching the iPhone in Asia this year. After the alleged talks with both DoCoMo and Softbank in Japan, and the reportedly curtailed talks with the China Mobile Communications Corp, Apple was recently spotted in Thailand, striking a deal with the country's Advanced Info Service mobile network company. A spokesperson for the deal said they're discussing a revenue-sharing plan with Apple for the iPhone in Thailand. After the recent disappointment in sales in the UK, it will be interesting to see whether the iPhone would be a hit in Asia. After all, people can only wait so much. If they don't bring the iPhone to Asia soon, what interest there is would definitely wane.
