Rumors abound that Apple is just months away from unveiling a new iPhone Nano, a smaller version of the wildly popular (but prohibitively expensive) Apple cell phone with the unique visual customer interface and fabulous graphics capabilites. The release of an iPhone Nano would enable Apple to enter the $99-$149 price point, and would likely blow just about every other cell phone out of the water—at least for awhile.
iPod Nanos have done very well especially in the young adult market, so users are of that are already primed for a matching iPhone Nano and will scoop these up in droves once they are announced at hit the stores. While Apple will neither confirm nor deny the rumors (which have been swirling around for the past year), several manufacturers have leaked that they are already building iPhone Nano cases, giving the possibility more validity. Look for an official announcement by Apple in early March of 2009.
