31 Oct 09 iPhone Doom Classic App Pops Up at App Store
Just when people were waiting for the sequels to the popular game Doom, the original app comes out of nowhere at the iTunes app store. The iPhone Doom Classic features three episodes of the original game and a special fourth episode titled “Flesh Consumed”. The Doom Classic app can be yours for $6.99 and is now available for purchase.

I found that after a minimal learning curve, I was able to have complete and fluid control of the game, so that wasn’t an issue. I did have some problems with constantly hitting the screen to shoot, but I guess with a lack of buttons on the machine, there is nothing to be done about that.
