iPhone Dev Team releases jailbreak for iPhone 3GS

Despite purplera1n‘s release not too long ago, the iPhone Dev Team has gone ahead and released their own version of an iPhone 3GS jailbreak entitled redsn0w.

Redsn0w 0.8 is reportedly “a stable jailbreak (unlike purplera1n)” so users who were having problems with GeoHot’s jailbreak might want to check this one out.

You can head over to the iPhone Download Blog for a tutorial on how to use redsn0w. Remember, proceed at your own risk.
