It seems that the latest boom these days is to create an iPhone app for a living. At least that is the trend we see with the new apps being announced almost daily. With the growing popularity of the iPhone reaching unprecedented levels, it is apparent that some people have found a new way of income via iPhone apps which can reach as much as $100,000 if they are lucky.

But the key to a great iPhone app relies as well on education and training. For sure, iPhone app developers will agree that they need advanced information and studies to make sure that they keep in step with fellow programmers who have invested heavily in attending workshops and classes. And if there is one event that they should consider attending, it should be the iPhone Boot Camp which will be graced by best-selling iPhone authors and developers as well.

The place to be is New York City which will play host for six days of master classes from August 6 to 11. The event will be spearheaded by bestselling iPhone authors Steve Kochan, author of “Programming in Objetive-C 2.0″ and Jeff LaMarche, co-author of “Beginning iPhone Development.

The affordable early bird rates are as low as $999 for a three day workshop and $300 for one day introductory workshops. Class price includes lunches and refreshments and over two hundred pages of original instruction materials. Students are encouraged to bring independent projects to class, allowing for input from classmates and individual instructor attention.
