The Chevrolet Volt is an advanced car itself and to add icing to the cake Chevy has recently announced that there will be iPhone and BlackBerry apps when it hits dealers.

Unfortunately you won’t be able to steer, accelerate or anything like that but you will be able to control when your Volt charges in addition to a full fledged OnStar set.

Now all GM needs to do is get the car onto the market so we can start using these apps.
