Apple has been setting the smartphone market on fire each year since 2007 with a new release of the iPhone. While many consumers were initially disappointed by the iPhone 4S the device managed to sell like hotcakes with the same being expected for the next generation device.

Commonly referred to as the iPhone 5, this device is one of the most highly anticipated mobile devices of all time. It’s been said that the iPhone 5 will feature an aluminum unibody design, 4-inch display, dual-core processor, 8 megapixel camera and more. Seeing how we’ve already seen the dual-core processor and 8 megapixel camera appear in the iPhone 4S it would make sense that the iPhone 5 would have even higher specs.

Anyways, Apple has typically come forth during the summer to release their devices with the iPhone 4S being one of the first to be released later in the year. Now that it’s 2012, everyone is wondering when Apple will be releasing the next generation iPhone. Naturally, nothing has officially been said just yet but some new rumors have appeared today.

Apparently, the iPhone 5′s design is completely finished and the device is now ready for production. Of course, this doesn’t really give us any indication as to when the device will be released but we’ll keep you posted
