iPhone 4 gyroscope much better for augmented reality

Apparently, that new iPhone 4 gyroscope is much better than the accelerometer for augmented reality, as this video shows.

What you see here is an iPhone 4 next to a 3GS, running an augmented reality program. You will note that the iPhone 4 on the left is giving away a lot more information.

At least, that is what I think you are supposed to notice. I don’t have much experience with augmented reality apps. It’s nice to see the iPhone 4 improvements being complimented, though.
