iPhone 3GS (8GB) dropping to $99, iPhone 3G is goneBy Mark Rollins - 06/08/2010 5:13:31 PM |
Remember how we were talking about how the iPhone 3G had dropped to less than $100 at Wal-Mart? According to Jobs at WWDC, $99 will be the official MSRP for an iPhone 3GS (8GB version).
If you want any higher memory than that, then you can shell out $149 for a 16GB iPhone 3GS and $199 for a 32GB version. This is with the two-year plan and “while supplies last”. Of course, there are still a lot of iPhone 3GS on the market.
By the way, the iPhone 3G is going to be discontinued. I can’t help but think that this iPhone, with its newer versions coming out every year, is just a little too big. Will there always be a demand for iPhones?
