iPhone 3G running OS 3.0 gets jailbroken, public release FridayBy Jeff Baker - 06/17/2009 1:11:41 AM |
Well that didn’t take long — OS 3.0 for the iPhone/iPod Touch hasn’t even been officially publicly released and already the iPhone Dev-Team is announcing that they have successfully jailbroken it.
Now, they aren’t releasing the software unlock to the public until Friday (the same day the iPhone 3G S comes out) in hopes that Apple won’t be able to fix it last minute.
Anyways, be sure to check out the above video demoing what the Dev-Team is calling ultrasn0w (the actual demo starts at 1:57) and await its June 19th arrival.
