The iPhone 3G is said to arrive at BestBuy locations starting with September 7th. Does this mean we will get it unlocked? Am I to understand I’ll be able to get one from a vending machine inside an airport?

The official announcement is due tomorrow. The iPhone will be available in 970 stores around the USA and in 16 dedicated BestBuy Mobile Retailers.
Question is, does Apple have enough handsets to spread them out that much? We’ll be waiting for September then to see how it all works out!
