It looks like the whole exclusivity deal Apple had with AT&T concerning the iPhone is going down the drain. According to recent rumors Apple is going to strike a deal with Verizon Wireless. An official announcement is going to be made at Macworkd 2009.

Apple seems to be hiring CDMA and EVDO engineers. Does that mean Verizon is really going to finally get the iPhone 3G? Considering that we don’t exactly know how long the exclusive Apple - AT&T deal is going to last, we might see a Verizon iPhone soon.
