iPhone 2.1 Firmware Ready by FridayBy Chris - 09/10/2008 11:27:46 AM |

If you own an iPhone you must already be aware of the fact that the new firmware 2.1 is going to be ready by Friday. Steve said the software will bring you fewer call drops, a better battery life and an increased speed for iTunes backup. We are also waiting for push support for third party applications and better GPS.
Firwmare 2.1 is also available for the iPod touch. It will cost you as usual a $9.99 when you download it from iTunes 8. If you have version 2.0 the upgrade comes for free. It will include the Genius feature and various bugs, like in the iPhone, should be fixed.
