Remember when Wal-Mart was offering deals on calling plans? It would appear they are planning on offering the iPad as well.

There is a rumor that the “game-changing” tablet computer will be on sale for “$499, $599 or $699 for the 16GB, 32GB or 64GB Wi-Fi only model and $629, $729 or $829 for the 16GB, 32GB or 64GB Wi-Fi + 3G model”.

Apparently, the big WM plans to have only five of these iPads on hand. Not much commitment there, is it? Maybe you could try Best Buy.
