iOS4 now having problems with iPod Touch nowBy Mark Rollins - 06/26/2010 4:32:13 PM |
It seems like the problems with new Apple products just won’t quite. We’ve been hearing about a lot of iOS4 problems. We’ve just learned that iOS4 is not jiving with the iPhone 3G, and now the iPod Touch.
Apparently, upgrading to iOS4 for the iPod Touch causes the battery to drain a lot faster than usual. Part of the problem is that the new OS insists on always having the Wi-fi on, which, as any laptop owner knows, always drains the battery. It used to be that the Wi-Fi went off while the iPod Touch was in Sleep or Standby mode.
Who knows if Apple will try and fix this issue. I think they got their hands full right now with all the other iPhone 4 problems.
