Iomega's new PPDesktopHD is an amazing, 2TB (2,000GB) hard drive, powered by four hot-swappable SATA hard drives. This drive can single handedly increase your storage space for your business, or just the loads of video games you've been collecting since 95'. The hard drive works on both Windows and MAC, and can come pre-loaded with the new Windows Vista.

The drive connects through FireWire 800, FireWire 400 and USB 2.0, resulting in a transfer cap of 70 MB/Second. If 2TB of storage wasn't enough, the drive also come with an LCD panel that displays the current status for RAID level and available storage capacity, as well as fan and temperature condition. Backup software is included, which makes it most user friendly when recovering lost or damaged files. The drive is compatible with Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and
Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later for apple computers. The only thing this drive needs is to be water proof, crush proof, and resistant to dust build up, and it could be the ultimate hard drive.
