Intel Unveils Canmore Chip in CES '08

|

Understanding the value of modern-day mobile gadgetry, Intel has unveiled a new chip geared towards mobile technology use in this year's CES '08. The chip is dubbed "Canmore." It's pretty much like the standard Intel chip except it's designed to handle 3D graphics, surround sound and high-definition video. Canmore was probably an outgrowth of the sluggish pace of the PC world. The Canmore chip will be commercially available by the second half of 2008.
