Intel Centrino 2 Gaming Laptop from Cizmo Anyone?

Cizmo from Germany is going to challenge us with a new laptop release. That’s nothing special. We’ve seen lots of gaming machines from Acer, Dell, HP, Alienware and more. But the Cizmo CX1730M will be special. It will be one of the first laptops to pack an Intel Centrino 2 Montevina processor. The Extreme X9100 processor will be the first Penryn class processor for laptops to surpass 3.0GHz.

Let’s see what features the CX1730M will have this summer:

  • Extreme X9100 mobile processor at 3.06GHz
  • Nvidia GeForce 8800M GTX graphics chip
  • DDR3 SDRAM compatible with Intel’s faster 1066MHz front-side bus
    Intel’s newest PM45 chipset
  • Intel’s Turbo Memory Module, the Robson 2.0 which will speed up boot and other application load times.Lots of interesting stuff. I’d like to see one of these at work. I’d even install Vista on one to see how they perform. I guess we are going to hear more of this Cizmo later this summer.
