Insignia NS-DVxG Firmware Update - 1.20

Insignia, a ?small? but good manufacturer of Portable Media Players, has come up with an update to its firmware that makes their devices much more valuable. The released firmware is now on version 1.20 and the most important release notes includes the following points:
- Addition of Lossless WMA and WMA support
- Folder Browser support - this feature has been included in ?normal? MP3 players for quite some time.
- Photo Thumbnail support - it is hard to imagine how would a player that can display photos work without the thumbnails.
- Ogg Tag support ? this audio file format isn't used by many people, but its quality is better than some formats that many people use.
- Displays information about artist and track title in the ?Next? screen ? once again, this should have been implemented a long time ago.
- Gapless playback ? without interruptions.
- Addition of audio mute function when the video is on forward/rewind mode - I bet it was annoying to listen to the strange audio of the video while on forward mode.
- Variable rate seek for forward/rewind functions - making it easy to find exactly what you want.
Other updates:
- Changed DB file limit to 2000 internal and external.
- UI main graphics updated.
- Wheel seeking implemented for Music/Audible/Video (press and Hold play to enter seek mode).
- Seamless playback when connecting to a charger.
- M3U playlist support.
- Variable rate seek for FF/RW.
- Changed 30 second sleep time to 30 mins at the request of users.
- Alphabetical listings for Video/Audible lists.
