Infineon Introduces X-Gold 110

For mobile phone users on a budget, brace yourselves for an ultra-low cost phone courtesy of Infineon.

Infineon Technologies AG has launched a third generation phone, the X-Gold 110, touted to be the world’s highest integrated and cost-effective chip solution for GSM/GPRS ULC phones.

The X-GOLD110 is the heart of Infineon’s mobile phone platform XMM 1100 offering optimized functionalities on a small footprint foour-layer PCB. The new platform supports color display, MP3 playback, FM radio, USB charging and is prepared for dual-sim and camera solutions.
