iMate 9502, 8502, 6150 and 8150 Offer Advanced Functionality and Innovative Designs
i-mate has launched a couple of new devices on the Ultimate series, with the main features being an advanced functionality, and also an innovative design. The four new cellphones have the following codenames: 9502, 8502, 6150 and 8150.
The Ultimate 6150 and 8150 have pretty similar features, both sporting an Intel PXA 270 processor running at 520Mhz, and a nVidia G5500 as the graphics accelerator. Add WiFi and bluetooth for the wireless connection, and 256MB of RAM + 128MB of RAM for the memory. The main difference of each cellphone is probably the design, and screen/typing functions – while the 6150 only has a VGA touchscreen that measures 2.8-inches, the 8150 also comes with the touchscreen, but adds a dial keypad.
About the Ultimate 8502 and 8502, they are also very alike and the only difference is the screen dimension, 2.6-inch for the first, and 2.8-inch for the second. Both have a full QWERTY keyboard and Windows Mobile 6 as the operative system. GPS and FM radio are also included.
The i-mate Ultimate 6150 and 8150 will become available in November and cost between $695 and $725.
