iLuv officially launched today their i1255 which is a 5.1 channel desktop iPod/DVD player. The i1255 will retail starting from $149.99 and it will be available from Circuit City, J&R Music, Fry’s, Micro Center and iLuv of course.

iLuv’s i1255 is a music and video player with iPod connectivity and DVD player capabilities. Designed for iPods the i1255 has an integrated dock compatible with 6th generation iPods, iPod Touch, iPod Classic (80 GB and 160 GB) and the iPod Nano 3rd Generation.

The i1255 works as a DVD player too and has multiple subtitles, angles and audio functions. There’s slow and fast motion playback and some zoom capabilities. You can play lots of media: DVD, VCD, MP3 CD, Audio CD, JPEG CD and Kodak Picture CD.
