HTC Smartphones Invade Canada
HTC has begun a major invasion of the North American continent, starting with an onslaught of new HTC phones in Canada. Each of Canada's major wireless carriers is picking up at least one new HTC phone.
Rogers Wireless is grabbing the HTC TyTN, which will be available for $399 with a 3 year contract.
Telus Mobility is picking up the HTC S720 and the HTC P4000. The S720 will be available for $150 with a three year contract, and the the P4000 for $200 also with a 3-year contract.
Yikes! I didn't even know they had 3-year phone contracts... is this a Canadian thing, and does anyone actually sign up for a 3 year contract? 2 years is long enough, and I can't imagine signing a 3 year, but I am glad to hear that HTC is bringing their portfolio of phones to North America, offering us more choices in the cell phone arena.
