HTC‘s CEO Peter Chou has recently stepped forward to let us know that his company has officially sold over 1 million HTC Magics to date. If you’re scratching your head looking at the above device associated with the name Magic, it’s because branded it’s called the T-Mobile myTouch 3G in the United States.

Furthermore, Chou went on to say that HTC will focus their efforts on releasing more mid-range sub $300 smart phones onto the market for the rest of 2009. In fact, he hopes to have 50-60% of all of HTC’s handset shipments fall into the mid-range category.
